Art Research: Renessance to Contemporary Art

In July 2007, Oogie Art led a comprehensive art research tour from the Renaissance to Contemporary art for Oogie Art students. The art research began in Rome and Florence, where students delved into the rich art and architecture of the Renaissance. The educational excursion continued at the 52nd Venice Biennale, where students engaged in critical comparisons and drew inspiration from contemporary art. Additionally, the group visited the Angiola Churchill’s art studio in Venice. Churchill, a prominent figure in the art world and head of the Art Department at NYU, provided invaluable insights, enriching the students' understanding of modern artistic practices. This tour exemplified Oogie Art’s dedication to providing deep, immersive educational experiences in art history and contemporary art analysis.
