At Oogie Art, we pride ourselves on being an honest, dedicated school. Our commitment to integrity drives us to require an interview, as we are serious, passionate educators who strive to help our students reach their dream schools. We are committed to helping each student improve their technical drawing and painting skills at an accelerated rate, while also fostering creative, independent thinking. Every student is assigned personal projects tailored to their current skill level, intended major, college goals, and cultural background, and we expect them to be diligent, responsible, and eager to learn.
In the interview, we will discuss our teaching programs, class schedules, community page, published books, online library, and Portfolio Tracking System. We will also ask about your goals, intended major, and top three dream colleges. Our program is selective; we do not accept unmotivated, lazy, or disrespectful students.
Importantly, Oogie Art upholds a strict ethical standard: every piece of student artwork submitted in applications and competitions is 100% authentic, untouched, and reflects each student's true abilities. We do not manipulate or enhance student work to secure awards or college acceptances. We deeply value moral education, ensuring that every accomplishment is genuinely earned.
Once you submit the interview form, we will confirm your interview date and time and request samples of your artwork for evaluation. Before the interview, we will send you our Zoom ID via text message.
