Art History & Site Research Program

In July 2008, as part of the Oogie Art Art Research Program, students traveled to Paris to explore over twenty historically significant art sites depicted by some of the world's most famous Impressionist painters. This immersive experience allowed students to connect with the actual locations where masterpieces were created, offering a deeper understanding of Impressionist art history.

The program included visits to Monet’s garden in Giverny, Picasso’s mansion, and Van Gogh’s grave, providing students with a unique opportunity to experience the personal and artistic environments of these iconic artists. By tracing the footsteps of Impressionist masters, students gained valuable insights into the cultural and historical context of their works, enhancing their artistic and historical understanding.
