Fashion Show for A Cause

In early March 2010, Oogie Art students hosted a charity fashion show titled "Fashion for a Cause" at Oogie Art’s New York studio. This event was an integral part of the Oogie Art Leadership Through Art program, designed to foster creativity, leadership, and social responsibility among students. Sponsored by eight corporations, including BoConcept, Balance Water, and DJ Pro Audio, the show featured twenty unique, student-designed fashion pieces modeled by over fifty student volunteers.

All proceeds from the event went towards purchasing laptops and funding scholarships for Vision Homes in Ipoh, Malaysia. The students themselves designed custom t-shirts for the event, showcasing their artistic talents while using their creativity to make a positive impact on the global community. This program empowered students to take initiative, work collaboratively, and use art as a tool for charitable action, leaving a lasting impression on both the participants and the communities they served.
