Solar Panel Project for
Kasangula School, Uganda, Africa
This summer, Oogie Art returned to Uganda to assist in building solar panels for Kasangula School, located in the Mityana district. Our students conducted eight art classes, taking on creative and leadership roles with local students. Additionally, Oogie Art donated many books to help establish a library, a valuable resource for the students. This visit represents another step towards enhancing the school's facilities and improving educational opportunities for the children.
After the installation of solar panels, students were able to study in the library until later hours. Two years later, we were thrilled to learn that Kasangula School students ranked first in a nationwide city-wide test in Uganda, making this project incredibly rewarding for everyone involved.
