Oogie Art Alumni TA Summer Internship

Discover how our Oogie Art students are thriving in our TA Summer Internship. We are very proud of their achievements!

The Alumni TA Summer Internship offers former Oogie Art students a paid opportunity to return as teaching assistants during the summer term. Participants gain hands-on experience in teaching, mentorship, and leadership by assisting in classes, sharing their college experience with current Oogie Art students, and supporting instructors. This experience strengthens their connection to the Oogie Art community and prepares them for future careers in education, design, and creative fields.

In addition to classroom support, alumni will also have the chance to assist at Wook + Lattuada Gallery. Responsibilities may include archiving artwork, organizing and restoring pieces, and supporting general gallery operations. These tasks offer exposure to the professional art world and help build practical skills in arts administration.

The program offers a unique blend of educational and professional experience—reinforcing career readiness, leadership development, and real-world insight.

Assignments will be based on your major and individual strengths. We recommend applicants be college juniors or above, though exceptions may be considered.
