Italy Architecture Research Program:
Rome, Florence & Venice
Now in its third edition, Oogie Art's Architecture Research Program is designed for high school students to explore, research, and gather inspiration for their architectural studies. This program is especially valuable for students aspiring to major in architecture, offering an in-depth look at Italian architectural trends and historical influences.
Through this program, students will not only engage with the world’s most prestigious architectural exhibition at the Venice Biennale but also immerse themselves in the rich architectural heritage of Rome, Florence, and Venice. From the ancient ruins of Rome to the Renaissance masterpieces of Florence and the innovative urban planning of Venice, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of architecture’s evolution and its impact on modern design.
This immersive experience provides future architects with essential research opportunities, firsthand exposure to groundbreaking ideas, and a deeper appreciation for Italy’s architectural legacy.
What Will You Do?
Analyze & Research – Explore global architectural trends and groundbreaking projects showcased at the Venice Biennale. Study how architecture influences societies and urban landscapes.
Engage & Participate – Take part in guided tours, discussions, and hands-on activities to deepen your understanding of architectural design, history, and innovation in Rome, Florence, and Venice.
Collect & Create – Develop ideas, document research, and build a college architecture portfolio with reflections, sketches, and innovative concepts to prepare for your future in architecture.
Showcase Your Work – Present your research and creative projects in a group exhibition in New York.
Published Research – All student research conducted during the program will be published under Oogie Art Press, allowing students to share their findings with a wider audience.
Ongoing Mentorship & Support
1:1 Meetings – Students will have individual meetings before departure and after returning to discuss research goals and reflections.
Weekly Writing Reviews – Students will submit written research 1-2 times per week, receiving detailed feedback to refine their work and strengthen their portfolio.
This program challenges students to think critically, broaden their perspectives, and ignite their passion for architecture—laying the foundation for future success in academic and professional pursuits, as well as strengthening their college applications.
This program is open to Oogie Art students only.

Payments are non-refundable after May 1st due to pre-arranged bookings and reservations.
