Leadership Through Art Program

At Oogie Art, we believe in the transformative power of art to make a profound impact on communities and individuals alike. Our Leadership Through Art program offers high school students unparalleled opportunities to engage in large-scale art projects and community service, fostering both creativity and leadership skills.

Students in our program collaborate on extensive art projects, including mural paintings and well projects at Kasangula School in Uganda and solar panel projects that contribute to sustainable education environments. By teaching art at international locations like the Thao Dan Social Center in Vietnam and the Mya Theingyi Orphanage in Myanmar, our students not only share their skills but also enrich their understanding of diverse cultures.

Additionally, participants learn how to design their own curricula, effectively teaching art to children in various settings, including refugees in Berlin and orphans in Malaysia. These experiences culminate in significant projects such as the organization of fashion shows for charitable causes and assistance in international art festivals.

Each summer, our students can also raise funds to support education for orphans and village children, ensuring a lasting impact. The program stretches from local communities in New York, where students assist renowned artists, to global ventures in places like Africa and Asia, reflecting our commitment to using art as a vehicle for global change.

By the end of the program, participants earn a certificate of completion, acknowledging their contributions and the leadership skills they've honed. Join us at Oogie Art to not only develop your artistic talents but also to make a difference in the lives of others across the globe.
